New landscaping, stone and metal fence and feature lighting add warmth and safety.
Encompass engineers asked KDPA to work with the condo association to show them ideas for their front entrance. Riverwest is 17 stories tall? was built in 1983? and the old driveway was in need of repair. KDPA met with the association to hear their ideas and create a vision for how their building entrance and drive should look and feel.
The new stone and metal fence with planters ties the entrance canopy and a drainage swale to collect run off from cars helps protect the river just across the street. New lighting makes coming and going in the long evenings of winter much easier and color stamped concrete paving, new planters and landscaping soften the edges. New canopies were designed and foundations created for future construction.
